A while back, my brother sent me these “suggestions for success” by the American author H. Jackson Brown. We liked the list so much, we made a poster out of it. I’ve included an image of the poster below, as well as a plain-text version of the suggestions.

I used to work for a clinic and I saw the same 21 suggestions with a different background in their corporate offices. No one could tell me where I could buy it either.

My mother gave me this poster when I was a boy. I am going to acquire a new one because today I’m throwing the old one away due to wear. I read it on occasion and it seems to put my life perspectives back on track.

Interesting list if we were all selfless saints.
But the billionaires club is full of elites and a club the common man can not reach. Why, because the elite don’t want to share their power base…they despise ‘new money. Voting again and again to limit competition and ‘protect their own’.
Most billionaires didn’t get their by playing nice. Nice guys finish last. As for myself, I’m doing fine.

I look at some of the comments younger people make on internet and am saddened that they have lost sight of what is real and not real. We need to get back to the basics of what is right and wrong. Children need to be taught this from the time they are two until 14. All we can do is teach and hope our children will live long enough to make the right decisions. Parable make no sense until you experience life. Understanding comes with having and raising your children.
